FAQs

  • What is ZGlide Suspension and how does it work?

ZGlide Suspension is a patented direct replacement front wheel fork kit for zero turn mowers. ZGlide Suspension forks use embedded torsion technology in every fork to provide suspension that enables each front wheel to slightly pivot independently when going over rough terrain. This independent pivoting capability absorbs shock generated from traveling over terrain rather than transferring it through the frame, as with original equipment cast metal forks. The resulting shock absorption improves operator comfort and improves cut quality by reducing the amount of shock and bounce transferred to the mower deck. • Which hole should I use when installing ZGlide Suspension forks?

Upon initial installation, the front caster wheels should be installed using the axle bolt through the top hole. Because some initial settling and compression may occur with the in-fork torsion suspension, we recommend rechecking the level of the mower deck after 50 hours of use. Should the front of the mower deck be too low, simply relocate the axle bolt on each ZGlide Suspension fork to the lower hole and recheck deck level.  If additional leveling is required at any time, consult the owner’s manual for your mower and follow the instructions. Additionally, owners should always follow all recommended maintenance schedules from the mower manufacturer.
